Angelo Canelli is one of the new italian talents of jazz music.     

He attended the Berklee School Italian clinics during “Umbria Jazz” in 1986, and the University  of New Orleans jazz Clinics c/o Lanciano (Italy) from1995 to 1997

In 1998 he won the “Baronissi” italian competition for jazz musicians, and was awarded 2nd place in “Massimo Urbani” competition in the same year, drewing the jazz world's attention.

His last CD "Angelo Canelli plays the music of STING" , released in 2005 conquired the attention of the world of jazz, from Europe to Japan to States.
